Late Procedures

If a student is going to be late for school parents/ carers should contact the school on 01634 337111 before 9.15am. 

Absence Procedures

If a student will be absent from school due to illness/ unforeseen circumstances parents/ carers should contact the school office on 01634 33 7111 before 9.15am on the first day of absence. Should a student be absent for more than one day, then a telephone call needs to be made to the school office for each day of absence, before 9.15am. On the third day of absence the school will require medical evidence of the student's condition in the form of a sick note, evidence of medication or a hospital letter.

In the event a student will be absent due to foreseen circumstances, such as medical appointments, a copy of the letter from the medical organisation or appointment card should be provided to the school, enabling the school to authorise the absence. 

Should a student be absent from school due to events such as family funerals please let the school office know the date as soon as possible.
