Welcoming our new Student Production team

Over the last couple of months, a group of Will Adam’s students have been working in collaboration with some wonderful people and companies to explore digital creativity and ideas. Students begun by creating fictional characters and then building on those characters to make weird and crazy lives, that they can develop in magnificent and fabulous ways.

They are using music, sound, imagery, text and audio as a creative tool for depicting their characters’ lives and memories. Sound is the most direct way of communicating, imagery doesn’t have to be the only creative option when creating art works — if we think about music, sound can affect our emotions immediately, without any explaining or thinking. Using a combination of sound, image and text can be a powerful tool to convey our memories, thoughts and emotions. The team of students at Will Adam’s have begun a wonderful, sometimes hilarious, sometimes thought-provoking journey using this media.

We would also like to say a massive thank-you to James and Marie from Ideas test, Dante or Die, Sarah and Theatre 31 who are helping our Medway children experience art within their education in these unsettled times.
