Course Overview

Business is a very relevant subject, allowing students to use real-world examples to understand and further their work. Students learn a variety of topics including Entrepreneurship, Spotting opportunities, Putting ideas into practice, Making a business effective, Influences on business, Growth, Marketing, Operation and Finances and Human Resources. This subject gives students the tools to develop their critical thinking and analytical skills, which can be applied to many other areas, not only GCSE subjects. Having the knowledge of how businesses operate and their functions within society will be an asset to the students, especially those interested in management, marketing, finance, or even starting their own business.

Exams

Business is a 100% exam-based subject, where students will sit 2 90-mark exam papers, both 1 hour 45 minutes.
