Course Overview
This course aims to give students the basic skills into the trade industry. It is a practical hands on course, where you will learn skills such as Brickwork, Tiling, Electrical Wiring and Health and Safety. Students will be taught the importance of correctly using and maintaining equipment, how to properly prepare materials, understanding which resources are needed for certain projects and personal protective equipment (PPE). Within this course, students will also be required to communicate with others and review their own performances.
Coursework
This course is entirely coursework based, where students will need produce a portfolio of evidence, created from completing assessment tasks linked to the provided learning outcomes for this course. To achieve a higher qualification, students will need to achieve as many credits as possible.
