The team is supported by the school counsellor. 

The safeguarding of our students is of paramount importance at Will Adams Academy. 

All members of staff are subject to a full, enhanced DBS check prior to employment and Safer Recruitment procedures are followed. 

All staff receive training at the start of the academic year to review and refresh their safeguarding training and knowledge and to confirm safeguarding procedures within the school. 

New starters receive safeguarding training on employment and are given copies of all relevant school safeguarding documents and training on the school's safeguarding procedures and system.
